1. Eligibility: Only registered Faculty, Staff, and Students can borrow books from the library.
2. Library Card: A Library Card issued by MIT Library is required for borrowing. This card is non-transferable.
3. Card Loss: If the Library Card is lost, it must be reported to the library immediately.
4. Materials Not Available for Borrowing: Reference books, Textbooks, loose journal issues, periodicals, newspapers, and technical reports cannot be taken out of the library.
